Ukhand committed to making its police modern & smart: CM

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to the successful candidates of the constable and firemen examination in a ceremony held at Police lines. The CM personally handed over the letters of appointment to 55 candidates in the programme. The Uttarakhand police has recruited 1,425 constables and firemen in its ranks. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that a new recruitment drive will soon start to fill 1,550 vacant posts of constables in the police.

The CM said that the has enacted a stringent anti-copying law for ensuring a transparent process of recruitment. He said all the competitive examinations after imposition of new law have been conducted in a fair and transparent manner. The CM said that the stringent provision made in the law would prevent the copying mafia from affecting the sanctity of the examinations. To maintain the sanctity of the recruitment examinations,I resolved to undertake the strictest possiblemeasures. I was prepared to face any challenges and criticism in this endeavour, he said.

This move aims to provide farmers with access to cheaper loans for setting up solar projects and procuring equipment.

Individual farmers, groups of farmers, cooperatives, panchayats, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and Water User Associations (WUAs) can set up solar power Plants with capacities ranging from 500 kW to 2 MW.
