Ukhand police to set up plasma banks in each district
TheUttarakhandpolice has announced to set up plasma banks in each district of the state. The personnel of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and the Indian Reserve Battalions (IRB) who have recuperated from Covid-19 will also donate their plasma for these banks.
It is to be noted that almost 1,000 Police personnel have contracted Covid-19 during the second wave of coronavirus in the state. Last year, nearly 2,000 cops were tested positive for Covid-19.
